Jacob Guzman

Jacob Guzman was born in 1994 in Austin, TX. He is self-taught in various mediums and uses raw materials to construct every aspect of his works. Guzman’s work depicts aspects of daily inner-city struggles, cultural values and aspects of spirituality, especially rooted in knowledge of self. Inspired by the sounds of Jazz and Soul music, he finds inspiration in a wide array of their characteristics, from the instruments being played to the cover of the album itself. His first endeavors into selling artwork were small notecards sold to classmates in early grade school. Eventually selling small drawings out of his car in 2021, Guzman found himself in quick emergence as an artist. He currently lives and works out of Austin, TX.
